It all started in the 90’s where I first had the idea to establish a restaurant that would serve quality and authentic Mongolian food and I had no idea that it would be the start of what it is today. Over the years, we were able to create the proper and advanced technique and technology that would allow us to become a respected large chain of restaurants.
Mongolian cuisine is as rich and vibrant as its history and traditions and we took it as our duty to introduce and expand this culture and cuisine art to the locals and foreigners alike. With that in mind, the very first Modern Nomads Restaurant opened its doors in 2003. Our restaurants strive to combine and fulfill the Mongolian heritage along with Nomadic traditions in a manner that is entirely unique from other restaurants. With passing times, change must come; therefore, we have established International cuisine restaurants that serve a variety of multinational cuisine.
Nowadays, we operate over 25 restaurants in Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan and Erdenet cities, Selenge and South Gobi provinces of Mongolia, as well as in Russian cities Ulan-Ude and Irkutsk. Moreover, we manage an expanding and fast growing national 3 chain hotels “Hotel Nine” and diverse remote site businesses in Mongolia.
Our management focuses on leading and inspiring, we strive to be the best as we are aware of our social responsibility in developing food production and catering. In accordance with our care for our customers, we also focus largely on our supporting our HR personnel and staff with internationally recognized training as well as providing global referenced techniques and equipment.
